There are times when an onboarding file needs to be reversed from "Completed" to "In Progress." This may be due to an error in processing, a change to the onboarding process, or various other reasons. Once a New Hire File has been converted to completed. If a user has permission to Onboarding, they also have permission to reverse the status. If they do not, an alert will notify the user that they are unable to do so.
Follow these steps to move a hire back to the status of "In Progress":
- From within your hiring system, open your user settings by clicking on your name in the upper right corner and selecting Onboarding.
- When Onboarding opens, you will be on the New Hires tab which contains the Onboarding Queue of all hires.
- Open any New Hire File with the current status of Completed by clicking the name of the new hire.
- Find a new hire from the Queue by entering at least 3 consecutive letters in the first name or last name in the "Search Name" text box or use the “Select Status” dropdown to filter the new hires by current status of "Completed."
- Click the MOVE BACK TO IN PROGRESS button.
- An entry will be made in the Stream noting the action.
