The New Hire Queue contains the list of all applicants that have been moved into the "Hired" Stage. As applicants are hired, a New Hire File is automatically created in Onboarding with the names of the newest hires appearing at the top descending to the oldest. Account Administrators will have full access to Onboarding. The access of other system users depends on their assigned Role and Onboarding permissions they are granted.
When users open Onboarding from the menu, they will arrive on the New Hires tab with the New Hire Queue displayed in chronological order with columns of important status information. By default, the system will display only applicants who have been hired or unhired. Clicking on a new hire will open their full new hire file. From there, users can initiate the new hire process to assign an Onboarding package and individual forms or review the new hire’s progress with their Onboarding Checklist.
To find a new hire from the Queue by entering at least 3 consecutive letters in the first name or last name in the "Search Name" text box or use the “Select Status” dropdown to filter the new hires by current status (Not Started, In Progress, or Complete). When filters are applied, the results will be returned automatically. To export the list of new hires, use the check boxes to select one or more new hires, click "EXPORT" and follow the system prompts to choose a file location on your computer.
