Jobs can be pre-scheduled to post automatically at a designated future date and time that works best for your organization. This feature allows the hiring team to plan out postings to align with any number of scheduling related items such as a confirmed post date with internal stakeholders, scheduling a posting outside of normal work hours for early morning postings, completing the requisition workflow to connect a job with a future post date, etc.
During "Step #4" of the job posting process, the scheduling option will be available for any position with an "External" job type. The system will default to "Post Immediately," but you can select "Schedule future posting" and use the date and time tools to select a date. Click "SCHEDULE JOB POSTING" when complete, and the future job posting will be added to your Jobs page with a status of "Scheduled," a stopwatch icon, and an entry recorded in the Job History tab.
When your job reaches the scheduled posting time, the job status will update automatically from "Scheduled" to "Posted" and the job will be displayed immediately on your career site and pushed to your active job boards. There may be a delay of up to 6 hours (or more) to make it to the Job Boards based on their refresh cycles.
NOTE: Any scheduled job that is "Closed" before the scheduled posting date will cancel the job posting before it goes live.
