When a job requisition is approved, the resulting job can be posted directly from within a requisition or linked together if the job was posted from the job template tab. This enables the HR team to track the progress of a job from the initial request through the entire hiring process. Once a Job is connected to a Requisition, users can view the job summary details, which include: Linked Job Title, Posted Status (Posted, Paused, Closed), Posted Date, Closed Date, Number Hired, and Linked By. All system users can view the job summary details once they have been paired.
Post a Job from an Approved Requisition Immediately
At the time a Requisition is approved, the user will be asked if they want to post the job now or schedule its posting date. To initiate the posting process immediately after approving a requisition, click YES to arrive at the job template chosen during the job requisition submission. If the job title is listed as "Other" the system will take users to the Job Templates tab where they can create a new template based on the requisition details. Users electing to post the approved job another time can click the "X" on the window to close the notification and follow the steps below to "Post a Job from an Approved Requisition."
Post a Job from an Approved Requisition
When a Requisition is approved, Account Administrators and users with permission to post jobs will see the Post Job button that will enable them to initiate the job posting process directly from the requisition.

- Open an Approved Job Requisition by clicking on the Job Title.
- In the Resulting Job Details section, click Post Job.
- Follow the system prompts to complete the job posting process, which will be mapped to fields from the Requisition including: Job Title, Employment Type, Compensation Rate, and Location.
- If "Other" is selected as the Job Title when a Requisition is created, clicking Post Job will open the Job Templates tab and you can either select the job you want to post or start creating a new job template.
- Review and update the job template fields and then click POST JOB.
- Once the job is posted, entries will be made in the Job Requisition History and the Job History timeline.
Connect a posted Job to an Approved Requisition

- Click the Job Title from the list to select it.
- To confirm the pairing, click LINK.
Change the Job Linked to a Requisition

- Open an Approved Job Requisition by clicking on the Job Title.
- Click Edit in the Resulting Job Details section and enter the Job Title in the search field.
