Jobs that are currently in use or have been previously posted will be labeled with the job status that reflects the current state of the position. The four possible Job Statuses include Posted, Paused, Scheduled, and Closed. Changing the Job Status is a manual action that must be done individually by job.
Job Status: Posted
When a user completes the process to post a job, it will be labeled as "Posted" by the system. Jobs with a status of posted are live and can be found on the organization's career site, on major internet job board sites, and on any additional sources for which you have generated tracking links. Assigned members of the hiring team for the posted job will see it on their My Jobs tab.
Job Status: Paused
Jobs with a status of "Paused" remain active for applicant processing purposes, but they no longer appear on job boards or your career site. Users with permissions must manually change the job status to Paused. Assigned members of the hiring team for a paused job will see it on their My Jobs tab.
Note: When a job is paused, it can be Unpaused to reactivate the job. Users with permissions must manually select "Unpause" from the job status drop-down. The status will become Posted, and the job will be live and can be found on the organization's career site, on major internet job board sites, and on any additional sources for which you have already generated tracking links.
Job Status: Scheduled
When a job is scheduled to post automatically in the future, it will be labeled as "Scheduled" by the system. Jobs with a status of scheduled are not considered live yet. They will show on the organization's career site or on major internet job board sites at the scheduled date and time. Assigned members of the hiring team for scheduled jobs will see the job on their My Jobs tab.
Job Status: Closed
Jobs with a status of "Closed" can be found in the Archive. Although a closed job is no longer active, applicants can still be processed from the closed job in the archive. Users with permissions must manually change the job to Closed.
