Account Administrators can elect to specify the number of openings for each job. By default, the number of job openings field is set to inactive. When activated, the "Number Of Openings" field will be displayed on Step #4 of the job posting process and corresponding system locations. When enabled, this will be a required field for all future jobs and previously posted positions can be updated from the "Job Details" tab after opening a Job. By default any existing job will be set to "1" opening if at least one or no hires have been made, any job with with more than one person hired, the number of openings will be equal to the hired number.

Number of Openings on the Jobs tab
The "Openings" column on the Jobs tab will display how many openings were designated at the time of posting the jobs which can be compared to the "Hired" column. Note that the "Number of Openings" will not prevent additional applicants beyond the designated number from being hired. This is due to potential changes in the hiring process such as someone who was newly hired, but left the position while hiring for the position was still active.
Number of Openings in the Applicant Queue
The Applicant Queue of each job will display the Number of Openings for that Job in the Summary panel compared to how many applicants have been hired such as "Hired: 1 of 3."
Number of Openings for Requisitions
When the Number of Openings setting is enabled, it will be a required field when submitting a Requisition. Jobs posted immediately from an approved Requisition will have the requested number entered in the Requisition prepopulated in Step #3 of the posting process. The Number of Openings will also be listed as a column in the exported Requisition Report.
Number of Openings on the Time to Fill by Job Report
When the Number of Openings setting is enabled, the "Time to Fill by Job" report will default to the number of days between the date of posting and all number of openings all being filled.
