An applicant flag is a way to mark an applicant using colored and labeled flags. Applicant Flags and corresponding labels are global system settings that can be applied to applicants of all jobs. By default, your hiring system will include the following flags as active: Green - Good Fit, Yellow - Marginal, and Red - Poor Fit. Account Administrators can edit all labels as needed, and the change will be applied to all applicants assigned that particular flag.
Once flags are configured and activated, you can flag an applicant from the applicant queue, the talent tab, or from an individual applicant file. Click the flag icon and select the the desired flag from the list. If a flag has already been assigned to an applicant, hovering over it with your cursor will display the label.
Configuring Applicant Flags
To configure applicant flags, go to System Settings and select Applicant Flags. Users with permissions can configure up to 10 flags by dragging the desired flag(s) from the Available Flags column to the In-Use Flags column. Add a label and click "SAVE" to activate the flag configuration. Once configured, all users can select and view applicant flags within permitted system areas.
Note: If an active flag is removed from use, the system will automatically update the flag color for all applicants of that flag to the standard default gray. If that same colored flag is added back at any time, the system will update the flag color for all applicants who previously had that flag color.
