In Standard Question Sets in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Onboarding Web Forms individual questions can be marked as "Required" or "Optional." By default, questions will be required. When creating or editing a Standard Question Set or Onboarding Web Forms use the toggle beneath each question to toggle the question to "Required" (the switch will show as on) or "Optional (the switch will be turned off.) The quick apply job boards the hiring system is integrated with (Indeed Apply and Zip Recruiter) fully support the functionality of optional and required questions.
When applying, applicants must answer all required questions that are identified with a red asterisk in order to complete the online application. Upon reviewing Applicant Files, the hiring team can identify the "Optional" questions by the blue badge noting "No answer provided."
Note: By default, each question in Auto-scored Questions Sets will always required.
