KeldairHR integrates directly with Indeed, allowing you to authorize the connection between your Indeed account and KeldairHR, and to monitor the status of your Indeed job postings right from within the system. This article walks you through how to authorize the connection and what the Indeed Status Badge on your Applicant Queue page means.
Authorizing KeldairHR to Connect with Indeed
Before KeldairHR can read your job status information from Indeed, you'll need to grant permission for the two systems to communicate. This is done through a process called authorization — think of it like giving KeldairHR a secure "key" to check in with Indeed on your behalf. You are not sharing your Indeed username or password; the connection is handled securely in the background.
To get started, navigate to the Indeed section in Admin > Applicant Sources > Indeed. You will see a
"LOG IN WITH INDEED" button like this:
Clicking this button will redirect you to Indeed's website, where you will be prompted to sign in (if you are not already) and confirm that you are allowing KeldairHR to access your job status information.
Once you confirm, you will be brought back to KeldairHR automatically, and the connection will be active. You only need to complete this process once. If you ever need to disconnect or reconnect, you can return to this same area of your account settings. This is what a successful connection will look like:
The Indeed Status Badge
Once your Indeed account is connected, you will see an Indeed Status Badge displayed on each job's Applicant Queue page. This badge gives you a quick, at-a-glance view of how that job is performing on Indeed without needing to leave KeldairHR.
The job is live on Indeed. The job appears in search results. |
The job is expired on Indeed. The job does not appear in search results. |
The job needs sponsorship on Indeed. The job does not appear in search results. |
The job status is unknown on Indeed. Either the job is not found on Indeed, or there is a connection issue between Keldair and Indeed |
| The job needs an update on Indeed before it can appear in search results. |
The badge will reflect the current status of the job as reported by Indeed — for example, whether it is active, expired, or not currently posting. This helps you stay informed about your Indeed listings and take action quickly if something looks off.
