Permitted members of the hiring team can edit a reference's contact information provided by an applicant. This is helpful if the reference's information was incorrectly entered, if there are updates needed, or if the fields were optional and the information was not provided.
Follow these steps to edit a reference's contact information:
- Open an Applicant File and select References from the Processing section of the Details tab.
- Select Edit for the reference you want to edit and make your changes.
- Click Update to confirm the changes and record the activity in the stream of the applicant file.
- You can add a note in the Internal Comments section of the references panel to record the reason for the edit. Type the comment into the text box or use the microphone to add a voice comment with automatic transcription. When finished, click Add internal comment to save.
