Some system-generated emails can be edited before you send them during the hiring process. These emails include those initiated from within an applicant file, such as the email sent to an applicant when scheduling an interview, initiating part 2 of an application, or hiring or rejecting an applicant. At the time a message is sent from the applicant file, the user can make one-time changes that will affect that specific email only.
The templates for the system-generated emails sent during the hiring process are part of the Message Templates area of your Library and are assigned to a workflow.
Editing Message Templates
To make changes for all future uses of a message template, a user must have the proper permissions. See more about Message Templates.
- Select the Message Templates tab on the menu.
- Click the ⋮ menu of a template and select Edit.
- Review the template and use the text editor to make changes.
- When finished, click Save.
Note: If a user edits or removes a message token (system content between the ## symbols) from a message template before sending, the system-populated information cannot be added to the message.
