Bulk rejections can be made in the Applicant Queue of any job. A member of the hiring team can select a group of applicants and elect to reject those applicants. The "select all" checkbox will select all applicants on the first page. You can narrow down the applicants that appear in the Queue by using the Active Applicants Filter tool then sort the results by clicking the Applicant Queue column headings.
Follow these steps to process bulk rejections from the Applicant Queue:
- Select one or more applicants from the Applicant Queue using the checkboxes.
- Click the Take Action button and select Reject Applicant(s).
- If the Disposition Code setting is off:
- Elect to send a rejection notification to the applicants you selected or not.
- If the Disposition Code setting is active:
- Select an available Disposition Code from the drop-down.
- Elect to send a rejection notification to the applicants you selected or not.
- Click REJECT APPLICANTS to confirm.
The stage for all applicants rejected in bulk will change to Rejected, and the job's active applicant count will be reduced on the dashboard, job summary, reports, etc.
