Account Administrators and Users with permission, can allow applicants to reply to Workflow based messages in the following folders: Hire; Received; Rejection; Standard; Undo Rejection. Once enabled, upon sending that message as part of a job's assigned Workflow, the applicant will see the "Click here to reply" link to respond. Inbound communications will show up in the Applicant Message section of an Applicant File and will trigger the inbound applicant message for notification purposes.
Allow Replies on a Message Template
Follow these steps to allow replies to a message:
- Select the Message Templates tab from the main menu.
- Click on the Received folder.
- Open the email by clicking on the message name or by clicking the ⋮ menu of an existing message and selecting Edit.
- Check the box to Allow Replies.
- Make additional updates as needed to the Internal Message Name, Subject, Body, Tokens, CC and BCC fields.
- Click Add Attachment to include one or more files to be attached to the submission email.
- When finished, click Save.
Any message that has enabled "Allow Replies" will provide applicants will have the ability to reply with the option to include attachments if desired.
Note: Certain message templates in the hiring system already include specific call to action links that are tied to designated workflow functions such as "Click here to confirm your interview" or "Click here to fill in a reference check". Therefore, these do not have the option to enable replies.
